Oracle Accessibility Conformance Report

VPAT® Version 2.0 - October 2017

Name of Product:

Oracle Content and Experience Cloud 19.2

Product Description:

Oracle Content and Experience Cloud is a cloud-based content hub to drive omni-channel content management and accelerate experience delivery. It offers powerful collaboration and workflow management capabilities to streamline the creation and delivery of content and improve customer and employee engagement.

Content is at the heart of all marketing and sales efforts, and with Oracle Content and Experience Cloud you can share, collaborate, process, and manage all your content easily and effectively. It provides secure file sharing as well as file synchronization across different devices. This means that you can access your files and folders from almost anywhere, whether it's in your favorite web browser while sitting at a desk in an office, or on a mobile device while traveling. Your files, whether they are documents, digital assets, graphic files, or videos, can be used anywhere because they are stored "in the cloud," and you can access them using different devices.

Oracle Content and Experience Cloud offers several ways in which you can work with your files in Oracle Cloud:

  • Web browser: Using a familiar web browser on your computer, you can upload files, search for items, share folders, and manage all your files and assets in the Oracle Cloud. It can also be used to manage and author web sites using assets stored within Oracle Content and Experience.
  • Desktop sync client: Desktop Sync runs in the background on your Windows or Mac computer to automatically synchronize files on your local computer to the Oracle Cloud. This allows you to have all your latest files on multiple computers.
  • Mobile apps: You can download apps for your iPhone or iPad as well as Android devices, allowing you to work with your files in the Oracle Cloud from your mobile device for easy access to all your files on the go.

The Oracle Content and Experience Cloud also provides a browser based tool to create, edit and publish web sites and rich experiences. Websites can be created and reviewed as needed with out-of-the-box templates and themes. You can easily preview what your site looks like on devices with different screen sizes. For an optimal mobile experience, page content is automatically rearranged on smaller screens. Your sites will use the most up-to-date information and assets to produce always-current material. You can easily publish and update your sites and make them available immediately. You can work on one or more updates, preview an update in the site, and then, when you’re ready, publish the update with a single click.

Because Oracle Content and Experience Cloud includes the content management features built-in, you can manage all the assets you need for a website in one place and set up policies governing the use of those assets. Leverage content and data from existing sources to use it effortlessly where it’s needed, right now.

Administering Oracle Content and Experience Cloud is done through the web interface by users with Administrative privileges.
