Bug 38880896 - Incorrect Out-of-Sync (OOS) results are reported when an Oracle VARCHAR column is mapped to a CLOB column in Snowflake

When an Oracle VARCHAR column is mapped to a CLOB column in Snowflake during data comparison, the comparison process may incorrectly report rows as Out-of-Sync (OOS) due to datatype differences, even when the data values are logically equivalent.

This issue has been fixed.

Bug 38810817 - Running Comparison job does a Delta Compare and not Initial Compare, even after deleting and reimporting Groups and Jobs

After deletion and re-import of the group and job, the job continues to perform a Delta comparison using the previous state, instead of resetting and initiating a full comparison.

This issue has been fixed. If you delete a compare pair, all the metadata related to the compare pair will also be cleared.

Bug 38694945 - Unable to run a Job through Vericom Utility when there are Groups with no Compare Pairs

There was an issue where the vericom.sh tool was unable to run a job when there are Groups with no Compare Pairs.

This issue has been fixed. When performing a comparison of a job that includes at least one group with no associated compare pairs, the group with no compare pairs will now be automatically excluded from the run process.

1.1.3 Known Issues and Workarounds

This section details the known issues and any workarounds for the Oracle GoldenGate Veridata Release 26c release.

1.1.3.1 Release 26c (23.26.1.0.0) — February 2026

Bug 38947138 - Reports are stored in the location from which the startup script is executed.

Reports are stored in the root directory (/), when the server is started from a location other than the application’s installation directory.

Workaround: Start the server from bin directory in which the run.sh is located so that all the reports are generated under <root_directory>/veridata.

Bug 38883104 - Job Schedule UI: Start date is not included in schedule pattern

In the Schedule Job option within the UI, the Start Date field is currently unavailable. Although a date can be specified while scheduling a job, the job is automatically scheduled to start from the current system date.

Currently, scheduling a job for a specific future date is supported only through the One-time option. Recurring schedule patterns do not honor the specified start date.

Workaround: This issue has no workaround.

Bug 38930002 - SingleStore: Multiple Compare Pairs result in Database Connection loss

Currently, connection to database is getting exhausted when multiple compare-pairs are run in parallel.

Workaround: If connection is exhausted, restart agent and then run individual compare-pairs instead of running them in parallel.

Bug 38912408 - NSK Veridata: Enscribe Group Compare Pair Configuration Error

When configuring a compare pair, selecting the source and target NSK connections prior to selecting the Enscribe option on the source side, triggers a component validation error in the UI.

Workaround: Select the source connection and specify the Enscribe details before configuring the target connection.

38742306 - SingleStore: Credentials are not read from Connection Configuration

Credentials specified in the Connection Configuration window are not used during connection establishment. Instead, the application retrieves credentials from the database.url property in the configuration file.

As a result, the datasource connection may be reported as successful even when invalid credentials are entered in the UI.

Workaround: Ensure that the correct credentials are included in the JDBC URL, as these values are used when establishing the database connection.

38919346 - Oracle to Snowflake: Comparison shows OOS for Vector datatype, even after successful repair

In Oracle-to-Snowflake comparisons, rows for the Vector datatype may be reported as Out-of-Sync (OOS) even after a successful repair operation.

Workaround: This issue has no workaround.

1.1.3.2 Release 23.5.0.0.0 — November 2025

Bug 38586984 - Unable to clone a group having compare pair(s) with Row Count comparison type

If a group has one or more compare pairs, with comparison type set to Row Count, user will not be able to clone the group.

Workaround: This issue has no workaround.

Bug 38582341 - Status in the Connection page shows UNKNOWN on mouse-hover

Status in the Connection page shows UNKNOWN on mouse-hover on the Up/ Down arrow icons.

Workaround: This issue has no workaround.

Bug 38580647 - Latest comparison status is not shown for previously executed compare pair in some cases

On running a job for a subset of compare pairs within a group, excluding some CPs, the Latest comparison status on the run job page will display only for the CPs included in the current run. For the CPs that were excluded, their Latest comparison status will be left empty.

Workaround: This issue has no workaround.

Bug 38580356 - Preference page throws blank screen on page refresh

Preference page throws blank screen on page refresh.

Workaround: This issue has no workaround.

Bug 38570288 - Cannot create compare pair between sqlserver tables with period in table name

Error when trying to create compare pair between sqlserver tables having period (.) in table name.

Workaround: This issue has no workaround.

Bug 38324822 - Repair is never ending for BLOB and CLOB Columns

Repair is taking longer to repair just a few rows.

Workaround: This issue has no workaround.

Bug 38297729 - Importing xml that contains compare pair with delta enabled using custom comparison format resets the format

Workaround: This issue has no workaround.

Bug 38268134 - Unable to exclude columns from comparison by unchecking 'Use' column when columns as mapped

User is unable to exclude columns from comparison by Unchecking the 'Use' column and saving the compare pair when the source column is mapped to an appropriate target columns.

Workaround: Unmap the column by selecting an empty target. This results in 'Use' column being disabled and hence the columns are excluded from comparison.

Bug 38627139 - Not able to update Row Partitions of a Compare Pair

For a compare pair, user is not able to delete or disable row partition even after the Save action is successful. However, user can create new row partition or update SQL predicate of an existing partition.

Workaround: This issue has no workaround.

1.1.3.3 Release 23.4.0.0.0 — August 2025

Bug 38268134 - Unable to exclude columns from comparison by unchecking 'Use' column when columns are mapped

Workaround: To remove column from comparison, change target to empty value from dropdown and save. This will remove the column from comparison.

Bug 38097790 - Overall repair status shows OutOfSync when repaired in multiple iterations (Partial repair)

Workaround Do a complete repair in place of a partial one, by selecting Repair from the More Actions dropdown or by selecting the Repair from the Compare pair table.

Bug 38027246 - Group and Compare Pairs stuck when creating 2500 partitions for single table

Workaround: This issue has no workaround. You have to wait on Group and Compare Pairs creation page, as it takes longer to load. It appears to be hung, whereas it is just slowed.

Bug 37666690 - Repair fails for MariaDB:VARCHAR

For both MySQL and MariaDB, Oracle GoldenGate Veridata's repair currently works only when the VARCHAR value is less than 32,767 bytes (fewer than 32,767 characters for single-byte character sets, latin1).

For multi-byte character sets in MySQL and MariaDB, this threshold translates into lower character limits:
  • utf8 (3 bytes/char): maximum supported length = 10,922 characters
  • utf8mb4 (4 bytes/char): maximum supported length = 8,191 characters

Bug 37888195 - NSK: Dictionary & record structure not fetched in Enscribe compare pair column mapping

Dictionary and table structure not saved and fetched in Enscribe Compare Pair column mapping.

Bug 37457241 - postgres : Array To Vector Comparison shows same data as different
