2.2.1 Sign-up Overview

The sign-up process for HeatWave on AWS consists of the following major steps

• Create an Oracle Cloud Free Tier Account, if you do not already have one.

• Enable the HeatWave on AWS service in your home region.

Free Trial

Once signed up, you will receive free cloud credits you can use for up to 30 days to try out HeatWave on AWS. Once the free trial ends, you will no longer be able to update your resources or create new ones, but the resources you already created may still be viewed or deleted within a grace period, after which they will all be deleted. Upgrade to a paid account before the end of the grace period to maintain the data in your free-trial resources and to continue using HeatWave on AWS.

Note:

During free trial, you can enable the HeatWave on AWS service only in your home region. If you have chosen a home region where the HeatWave on AWS service is not available, you cannot use the HeatWave on AWS service during the free trial period. Check Region Availability. Upgrade to a paid account to enable the HeatWave on AWS service in any supported region.
