1 Changes in Release 24.1 for Oracle APEX Administration Guide

All content in Oracle APEX Administration Guide has been updated to reflect release 24.1 functionality and user interface changes.

New Features and Updates

  • SAML Sign-In Support for Callback URLs.

    SAML Sign-in now includes a new Callback URLs attribute which enables support for multiple callback URLS for SAML identity providers.

  • Limit the number of APEX mail send requests by a single tenant.

    The new Instance Setting, Maximum Emails Processed per Workspace, enables administrators to limit the number of email messages are processed for any given workspace during each invocation of the mail job.

  • Builder Extensions Enhancements.

    If your workspace is configured to host extensions, you can now invoke APEX applications from that workspace and use them in other workspaces on the same instance. If read access is granted by the invoking workspace, you can also access the application metadata (views) of the invoking workspace.

  • Multilingual Engine (MLE) section added to the About Oracle APEX page.

  • AI Services Administrator Controls

    Administrators can manage support for AI Services at the workspace or instance-level.
