16.8.7 Copying or Subscribing to a List

Copy a list from the current application or from another application. When copying a list from another app, you can also subscribe to it.

Tip:

Subscriptions enable developers to reuse shared components across several applications in a workspace. To learn more about subscriptions, see Using Shared Component Subscriptions.

To copy or subscribe to a list:

  1. Navigate to the Lists page:
    1. Navigate to the Workspace home page.
    2. Click the App Builder icon.
    3. Select an application.
    4. On the Application home page, click Shared Components.
    5. Under Navigation and Search, click Lists.

      The Lists page appears. Note that the report includes the following columns: Subscribed From, Subscription Status, and Subscribers.

  2. From the Tasks list, click Copy from another app.

    Tip:

    You can also access the Copy List Wizard on the Lists page by clicking Copy in the Copy column. Alternatively, Copy List also appears on Tasks list on the List Details page.

    The Copy List Wizard appears.

  3. Copy From - Choose where to copy the list from. Options include:.
    • This Application
    • Other Application
  4. To copy a list from the current application:
    1. Copy From - Select This Application.
    2. Copy List - Select the list to copy.
    3. New List Name - Enter the name of the list you would like to create.
    4. Click Copy.
  5. To copy a list from another application:
    1. Copy From - Select Other Application.
    2. Application - Select the application from which you want to copy.
    3. Copy List - Select the list to copy.
    4. Subscribe - Enable Subscribe to subscribe to the list.
    5. Click Copy.
