8.9.2 Supported Columns in Interactive Reports

Learn about column types supported by interactive reports.

Interactive reports support the following column types. Column types can be categorized as Built-in Components and Theme Components. Theme Components are Universal Theme Template Component plug-ins installed in the application's Shared Components. To view the column type in Page Designer, select the column and find the Identification, Type attribute in the Property Editor.

Column Type	Description	Category
Display Image	Displays the column as an image.	Built-in Components
Download BLOB	Displays the column as a link to download the file.	Built-in Components
Hidden	Does not display the column, but it is referenceable.	Built-in Components
Link	Displays the column as a link.	Built-in Components
Percent Graph	Displays the column as a percentage graph. The value retrieved must be between 0 and 100.	Built-in Components
Plain Text	Displays the column value.	Built-in Components
Plain Text (based on List of Values)	Displays the value returned from the list of values specified.	Built-in Components
Remove HTML	Displays the column value, after removing HTML tags and escaping special characters.	Built-in Components
Rich Text	Renders the column using HTML or Markdown.
Row Selector	Enable single or multiple row selection and optionally display a row selector control.	Built-in Components This column type is not associated with a source column. There can only be one row selector control per report and it always displays at the start of the row.
Avatar	Display an image, icon, or initials. Available as a partial template to display a single row.	Theme Components
Badge	Display content within a badge. Available for multiple report rows or a single row.	Theme Components
Comments	Display user comments and status updates. Supports avatars. Available for a single row or as a report with multiple rows.	Theme Components
Content Row	Display content in a formatted row with a title, description, and more. Supports avatars and badges. Available for a single row or as a report with multiple rows.	Theme Components
Media List	Display report content in a formatted media list. Supports avatars and badges. Available for a single row or as a report with multiple rows.	Theme Components
Timeline	Display a series of events. Supports avatars and badges. Available for a single row or as a report with multiple rows.	Theme Components
