24.8.8 Exporting a Legacy Websheet

Move or copy a Websheet application by exporting it.

Exporting a Websheet application to create a a readable script file with a .SQL extension.

To export a Websheet application:

  1. Navigate to the Export page:
    1. On the Workspace home page, click the App Builder icon.
    2. On the App Builder home page, click Workspace Utilities.
    3. Click Export.
  2. On the Export page, click Websheets Applications.
  3. On Export Websheet:
    1. Websheet Application - Select the Websheet to export.
    2. Export Application - Displays details about the Websheet including the Selected Application name, Page Count, Data Grid Count, Reports Count, Total File Size and File Character Set.
    3. Export Preferences - Select the appropriate options.
      • Export Data Grid Data - Specify whether to include Data Grid data with your application.
        • On includes Data Grid annotations in the application export.

        • Off excludes Data Grid annotations in the application export.

      • Export Data Grid Annotations - Specify whether to include Data Grid annotations (such as files, notes, tags, links) with your application.

        • On includes Data Grid annotations in the application export.

        • Off excludes Data Grid annotations in the application export.

      • Export Page Annotations - Specify whether to include Page annotations (such as files, notes, tags) with your application.

        • On includes Page annotations in the application export.

        • Off excludes Page annotations in the application export.

      • Export Private Saved Reports - Specify whether to include Private Saved Reports with your application. Private Saved Reports are the private customized settings of all users of the application.

        • On includes Private Saved Reports in the application export.

        • Off does not excludes Private Saved Reports in the application export.

    4. Click Export.
  4. Import the Websheet Export into the target instance.
