11.3.5 Creating a New Template

To create a custom template, copy and then modify and existing template.

Once you have created one or more default templates, you can modify those templates to fit your specific needs.

To create a custom template:

  1. On the Workspace home page, click the App Builder icon.
  2. Select the application to which you want to copy the template.
  3. Click Shared Components.
  4. Under User Interface, select Templates.
  5. Click Create.
  6. Select the type of template you want to create and click Next.
  7. Select a creation method:
    • From Scratch
    • As a Copy of an Existing Template
  8. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Tip:

Make sure you associate your template with the correct theme.
