Starting or Stopping the Oracle Oracle Database Security Central Instance

Learn how to start or stop the Oracle Oracle Database Security Central instance.

Oracle Database Security Central console or the OCI console can be used to start or stop the instances. Instances that are stopped can only be started using the OCI console.

From the Oracle Database Security Central console, you can stop or reboot the Oracle Oracle Database Security Central instance.

To Power Off or Reboot the Audit Vault Server instance 1. Log in to the Oracle Database Security Central console as a super administrator.

1. Select Settings.

2. Select System in the left navigation menu.

3. In the main page to the top right corner, select Power Off to stop the instance. Select Reboot to restart the instance.

To Power Off or Reboot the Database Firewall instance

The Database Firewall instance must be registered in the Oracle Database Security Central console.

1. Log in to the Oracle Database Security Central console as a super administrator.

2. Select Database Firewalls.

3. Select the checkbox against the specific Database Firewall instance.

4. Select Power Off to stop the instance. Select Reboot to restart the instance.
