About Audit Policies

Using the Oracle Database Security Central console, you can manage audit policies for Oracle Database targets.

To manage audit policies, first retrieve the audit policies from the target Oracle Databases. After retrieving them, you can perform the following tasks:

• Enable or disable Oracle-defined audit policies.
• Enable or disable custom audit policies.
• Manage Fine-grained audit (FGA) policies.
• Manage traditional auditing settings (applicable only to Oracle Database releases earlier than Oracle AI Database 26ai).
