Creating a New Database Firewall Policy

Learn about creating a Database Firewall policy.

1. Log in to the Oracle Database Security Central console as an auditor.

2. Select Policies

3. Select Database Firewall Policies tab in the left navigation menu.

   Though this page lists your User-defined Policies and theOracle Pre-defined Policies, only User-defined Policies can be created.

4. Select Create.

   The Create Policy dialog appears.

5. Select the Target Type from the drop down list.

6. Enter a Policy Name. The name can't include # or :.

7. Optionally, enter Description. The description can't include # or :.

8. Select Save.

   After clicking Save, you will be taken to the policy details page where you can configure the policy.
