7 Configuring Storage for Oracle Automatic Storage Management

Identify storage requirements and Oracle Automatic Storage Management (Oracle ASM) disk group options.

When configuring disks for use with Oracle ASM, you can use the asmtool utility to mark the disks prior to installation.
