In the bare metal server production deployment, there are two Podman host guest domain containers on each Oracle Linux bare metal server (four Podman Host Guest Domains in total), with a high availability storage and network configuration:

There are two containers on one host, in separate guest domains (Podman host guest Domain 1 and Domain 2), and two containers on a second host, also with two separate guest domains, with a high availability storage and network configuration. Except as noted, the configuration on the two Oracle Linux bare metal server hosts are identical. Each podman host guest domain container on the bare metal server has an ASM instance (ASM1 on the first bare metal server, ASM2 on the second bare metal server), a database instance of the Oracle RAC cluster (Database instance 1 on the first bare metal server, Database Instance 2 on the second bare metal server), and an Oracle Clusterware instance for each Podman host guest domain. Network connections provide interconnects to two Oracle Database file storage locations.
