Migrating Metadata from GIMR to Metadata Repository for Manual Upgrade

Use this procedure to import the metadata in to a new Oracle FPP metadata repository after manually upgrading to Oracle Grid Infrastructure 26ai.

Starting from Oracle Grid Infrastructure 26ai, Grid Infrastructure Management Repository (GIMR) is desupported. Oracle FPP Server requires a central metadata repository and thus you need to migrate your existing metadata from GIMR to Oracle FPP metadata repository after manually upgrading to Oracle Grid Infrastructure 26ai.

You must export the metadata from GIMR before removing the GIMR while upgrading to Oracle Grid Infrastructure 26ai.

1. Setup an Enterprise Edition of single-instance Oracle AI Database or Oracle RAC One Node (with own license) across all active nodes in the cluster.
2. Upgrade the Oracle FPP metadata repository by importing the metadata, which you exported during the Oracle Grid Infrastructure 26ai upgrade.
