18 MAA Platinum with Oracle AI Database 26ai and Oracle Active Data Guard

The validated MAA Platinum Option 1 solution builds on top of MAA Gold, but requires Oracle AI Database 26ai, as opposed to Oracle Database 19c, providing comprehensive data protection and disaster recovery (DR) when augmented with an Oracle Cloud standby database configured with Oracle Active Data Guard.

This MAA Platinum solution is the optimal and simplest cloud solution for mission-critical enterprise databases and applications to achieve maximum resiliency in the case of a local or widespread unexpected outage, without requiring application changes. Another key requirement is using Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure (ExaDB-D) to meet the highest platform HA and potentially lowest application impact for local failures.

Exadata Database Platforms such as Exadata on-premises, ExaDB-D, Exadata Database Service on Cloud@Customer (ExaDB-C@C), or Oracle Autonomous Database on Dedicated Exadata Infrastructure (ADBD-D) in Oracle OCI or one of Oracle's Multicloud partners is the first prerequisite.
