Access Shared Data with Delta Sharing

Delta Sharing is an open data-sharing protocol implemented by ORACLE_BIGDATA. Depending on the deployment and provider configuration, consume a share through:

• a persistent external table configured with the Delta Sharing access protocol;
• an inline external table with the equivalent query-scoped configuration; or a share or catalog mounted with DBMS_CATALOG and queried as schema.table@catalog.

Select among these forms by definition lifecycle, not by protocol. Use only the credential type, endpoint form, token lifecycle, and catalog procedure documented for the selected provider and Oracle deployment.
