Oracle AI Database Read API for Redis
Oracle AI Database provides Redis server-compatible read functionality that lets existing and new Redis applications retrieve database-backed objects by using familiar Redis client libraries, commands, and SQL keys. Instead of storing separate Redis values, Oracle transforms underlying relational data into Redis-compatible objects when requested, with Oracle remaining the system of record.
Oracle AI Database simplifies the application architecture by removing the need for a separate Redis tier for supported database-backed read patterns. Developers can preserve the Redis read experience while avoiding custom cache-loading code, TTL tuning, cache invalidation, and two-write coordination. Redis-compatible access can be configured with Oracle AI Database, Oracle True Cache, or Oracle Active Data Guard, supporting requirements for current data, read scale, and availability.
