Configure the Vector Index Service

To use the Private AI Services Container vector index service, you must configure the container and your Oracle AI Database.

• Configure the Container
  Use the following steps to stand up the Private AI Services Container and connect it to the database.
• Configure the RDBMS
  After the container is running, prepare the database instance so that it can authenticate to the Private AI Services endpoint.
• Advanced Configuration Options
  Additional options are available when configuring the vector index service, such as specifying a particular GPU to use.
• Install with Self-Signed SSL Certificates for the Vector Index Service
  This configuration uses SSL with self-signed digital certificates.
