On Oracle Linux 10, Oracle Database Client installation displays one or more of the following errors about graphical display setup:

Unable to verify the graphical display setup. This application requires X display. Make sure that xdpyinfo exist under PATH variable.

Could not execute auto check for display colors using command /usr/bin/xdpyinfo. Check if the DISPLAY variable is set.

Workaround:

Ignore the following error message on the console and continue with the client installation:

ERROR: Unable to verify the graphical display setup. This application requires X display. Make sure that xdpyinfo exist under PATH variable.
