Description

Provides the children (descendant) cells of an H3 cell at the specified resolution.

Parameters

h3_key

The H3 cell for which to return descendant cells.

child_res

The resolution of the child cells.

Usage Notes

This function can be queried with the TABLE operator. The result is a collection of descendant H3 cells.

Examples

The following example returns the children cells of the specified H3 cell at resolution 1:
