SDO_UTIL.H3_GRID_DISK_DISTANCES

Format

SDO_UTIL.H3_GRID_DISK_DISTANCES(
      h3_key IN RAW,
      k      IN NUMBER
);

Description

Produces the same set of cells as SDO_UTIL.H3_GRID_DISK, but along with the grid distance of each cell from the origin cell.

Parameters

h3_key

The origin H3 cell.

k

The maximum grid distance from the origin cell.

Usage Notes

This function can be queried with the TABLE operator.

The table function returns rows containing pairs of H3 cell identifiers (as RAW values) and grid distances.

Examples

The following example returns the H3 cells and their grid distances from the specified origin cell:

SELECT h3, distance
FROM TABLE(SDO_UTIL.H3_GRID_DISK_DISTANCES('085283473FFFFFFF', 3))
ORDER BY distance, h3;
