Description

Produces a hollow ring of cells that are exactly grid distance k from the origin cell.

h3_key

The origin H3 cell.

k

The grid distance from the origin cell.

This function can be queried with the TABLE operator and the result is a collection of H3 identifiers, each returned as a RAW value.

The following example returns the cells that are exactly grid distance 3 from the specified origin cell:
