RECOVER_KNOWLEDGE_GRAPH

Use the DBMS_AI_GRAPHRAG.RECOVER_KNOWLEDGE_GRAPH procedure to retry failed processing for an existing knowledge graph. Recovery runs asynchronously.

Purpose

The procedure schedules retries for failed entity and relationship extraction, summary generation, and embedding generation. For sources with automatic DML maintenance enabled, it also retries failed source-document processing. The graph must be in the READY or READY_PARTIAL state.

The procedure returns without waiting for recovery to complete. A successful call does not guarantee that all processing succeeds. Use DBMS_AI_GRAPHRAG.GET_KNOWLEDGE_GRAPH_STATUS to check for remaining failures. If there is no work to recover, the procedure returns without scheduling work.
