9.3.2 Add or Edit Step

This section describes how to add a step for a chain.

1. In the context menu for a chain, select Add Step.
2. In the Create Step slider, enter the following fields:
   • Step Name: Name of the step.
   • Type: Select Program, Chain, Event or Queue to run during the step.

     Additionally, select the name of the program, chain, event or queue in the corresponding field.

   • Pause: Select this option to pause the step.
   • Skip: Select this option to skip the step.
   • Restart on Failure: Select this option to restart the step after database failure.
   • Restart on Recovery: Select this option to restart the step after database recovery.
3. Click Create.

   The new step is displayed for the chain in the main Chains page.
