Spreadsheet Add-ins: New Features and Improvements
-
Refresh query results directly from the workbook. You can refresh the current worksheet and optionally all other worksheets containing saved query results without opening Direct SQL, Natural Language, or Data Analysis. Spreadsheet Add-ins provides a report indicating which worksheets were refreshed successfully and which could not be refreshed.
-
Create reusable parameterized SQL queries with bind variables. When you run a query, Spreadsheet Add-ins prompts for bind variable values, remembers recently used values, and lets you reuse or clear them.
-
Use an enhanced SQL editor in Direct SQL, Natural Language, and Data Analysis with syntax highlighting and improved editing features, including resizing, paste, undo, and clear options.
-
When a database connection is about to expire, the add-in displays a notification and prompts you to reconnect.
-
The Data Analysis filter interface is enhanced with improved navigation, scrolling, spacing, and visual styling.
