1.1.5.3.2 Editing a Metrics Chart

To customize the chart that appears, click Edit in any metrics chart field and define the parameters listed in the following table.

Options Description
Chart Name Specifies a name to identify the chart.
Service List Specifies the services you want to monitor on the chart:
  • All Services
  • Key Services: The key services you defined before for regular monitoring purpose. For more information, refer to Defining Key Services.
  • Select Manually: Select particular services you want to monitor in the list.
Metrics Specifies the metric chart type:
  • Throughput (per minute): Number of Tuxedo service calls per minute
  • Number of Successes (per minute): Number of success Tuxedo service calls per minute
  • Number of failures (per minute): Number of failed Tuxedo service calls per minute
  • Number of System Failures (per minute): Number of Tuxedo service calls with system failure per minute
  • Number of User Failures (per minute): Number of Tuxedo service calls with user failure per minute
  • Response Time (microsecond): Average Tuxedo service call response time
  • Wait Time (microsecond): Average Tuxedo service call wait time
  • Execution Time (microsecond): Average Tuxedo service execution time
  • CPU Time (microsecond): Average Tuxedo service CPU consumption time
Range Specifies the time range to present the data on the chart. You can choose to display the data in:
  • Last Hour: the aggregation interval is every metrics collection interval
  • Last 24 Hour: the aggregation interval is every metrics collection interval
  • Last Week: the aggregation interval is one hour
  • Last 31 Day: the aggregation interval is one day
By default, the chart presents data in last 24 hours.
Per Service This option is available when is not set to All Service. When selected, the chart shows lines of each service separately in different colors.
Chart Type Specifies the chart type: Line, Bar, Area, Combination, or Line with Area.
Chart Size Specifies the width of the chart.
