2.3 Running GUI-Mode Installation

This section describes how to install Oracle TSAM Plus Manager using GUI mode.

The Oracle TSAM Plus Manager installer program is currently available in English. By checking the value of a certain language-related environment variable on the target platform, the installer program automatically determines the language displayed during the installation and the language-specific message catalog installed during the installation. If the language-related environment variable is not set or is set to a value unknown to the installer program, both the language displayed and the message catalog installed default to English.

The following steps describe the installation procedure in GUI mode. The procedure on Linux platforms are similar.
