4.2.3 Database

Oracle TSAM Plus uses a relational database to store the following information:

• Performance metrics collected by the Oracle TSAM Plus Agent
• Tuxedo component information from the Oracle TSAM Plus Agent
• User account information
• Alerts and events

Oracle TSAM Plus leverages WebLogic data source functionality. The data sources will reconnect to the DB if the connection is broken. All background threads (such as data persistence and call pattern calculation) in the TSAM Plus manager automatically reconnect to the database and re-establish their connection to the TSAM Plus console if the database connection is lost.
