A.1.9 Polling and Retrying Options

-P [interval]

Used for polling a link to check status of relevant partner LU; the link stops when the partner LU is disconnected.

interval

Polling time interval. The default value is 30 (seconds), and the minimum value is also 30.

-R [interval]

Used for restarting a link periodically to reconnect relevant partner LU, which has disconnected before, the link will be started when the partner LU is connected.

Retry time interval. The default value is 30 (seconds), and the minimum value is also 30.

Note:

-P and -R impact all CRM links.

-P and -R can be set together, but only the polling interval is valid, thr retry interval is ignored. If a link is stopped by CRM utilities (for example, CRMLKOFF), -R is invalid.
