1.3 Specifying Machine Type and User ID Numbers

In the MACHINES section of the configuration file, include the following three entries:

• TYPE="WinNT"
• UID=0
• GID=0

Note:

These entries require different settings on a UNIX system.

Whenever you create a configuration file for an environment with both UNIX and Windows systems, include these entries in the MACHINES section for every Windows Server node in your configuration.
