5 Create a Rich History Database Configuration
Rich history can index blockchain transactions, events, traces, and state in Oracle AI Database or MySQL. Administrators can use SQL queries for investigation, reporting, reconciliation, and integration with off-chain data. In consortium deployments, members can share a founder-provided rich history database or maintain separate databases for their own nodes.
If you want a rich history database associated with your instance, it must be configured before the instance is created. You must have created either an Oracle Database or MySQL database before configuring a rich history database in Blockchain Platform Manager.
- Open Blockchain Platform Manager (
https://controlplane.domainname/console/index.html). - Log in to Blockchain Platform Manager by using the newly created user name and the password that you added when creating your identity provider.
- On the Configuration Page, select the Rich History Database tab.
- Enter all the required fields.
- You can optionally choose to upload a credential wallet
.zipfile. This file contains client credentials and is generated by the database. - To use blockchain tables to store the rich history database, select Use Database Blockchain Table. The underlying database must support blockchain tables.
- To specify table and row retention by using a data definition language (DDL) statement, select Advanced Configuration Query and then enter the DDL statement.
