Overview
The following types of APIs are exposed by the RPC proxy.
Besu Passthrough
eth_calleth_getBalanceeth_sendRawTransactioneth_getTransactionReceipt
Configuration
The Configuration API manages runtime logging settings. It allows clients to retrieve the current logging level and update it to supported levels.
Contracts
The Contracts API provides access to the contract deployment registry. It supports listing and retrieving deployments and historical versions, importing OpenZeppelin/Hardhat manifests, and importing Solidity storage layouts, ABIs, and bytecode.
Event Subscriptions
The Event Subscriptions API manages callback-based subscriptions for blockchain events, including new block headers and filtered logs. It supports creating, listing, retrieving, pausing/resuming, deleting, and connectivity-testing subscriptions, with options for retries, OAuth, TLS, block ranges, and log filters.
Instance
The Instance API exposes information about the running Besu instance and its configured network. It provides genesis configuration, a downloadable genesis bundle, and Rich History Database metadata.
OpenAPI
The OpenAPI API serves the service’s OpenAPI document. Clients can use it to discover endpoint definitions, schemas, parameters, and response formats.
Transactions
The Transactions API supports blockchain transaction and contract-query workflows. It can sign and submit transactions, track operations, look up transaction status by hash, and execute read-only contract queries.
Wallet Service
The Wallet Service API exposes wallet-related resources through a path-based interface. It supports retrieving, creating or invoking, replacing, and deleting wallet service resources using standard HTTP methods.
URL
The URL to access the RPC proxy for your instance can be found in Blockchain Platform Manager. On the Instances page, select the action menu and select Instance URLs.
