Central Bank Auditor
The central bank auditor has a read-only workspace for reviewing account activity, transaction history, and audit policy conditions across the central bank and participating organizations.
The central bank auditor is a read-only account. The auditor cannot create or update accounts, move value, approve requests, synchronize roles, or change setup.
Before you can complete central bank auditor tasks, you must have an eligible active CBDC account linked to your wallet. You must be a member of the Central Bank Auditor application group with its assigned ledger role. Finally, there must be transaction data stored in the configured rich history service.
Typically the central bank auditor completes tasks in the following order.
- Confirm the auditor identity, organization, token, and account status.
- Review the organization and account status cards.
- Enable any auditing policies that are required for review.
- Select the relevant organization or account history control.
- Apply transaction filters, refresh the history, and sort or paginate the results.
- Use the transaction ID, timestamp, amount, counterparty, and outcome to reconcile the record.
- Export the visible history when an offline review is required.
Audit Policies
Audit policies lets the auditor define review criteria for unusual or important activity. Audit policies do not change ledger data and do not approve or reject transactions. You must enable a policy before you can enter or edit the policy parameters.
| Policy | Parameters |
|---|---|
| Single transfer amount | Choose a comparison such as >=, <=, or =, and then enter an amount. |
| Number of transfers exceeding | Enter a count, and then choose the time window: Day, An Hour, Weekly, or Monthly. |
| Daily transfer total amount exceeding | Enter the amount threshold. |
| Transfers to specific accounts | Select the accounts. |
| Transfers from specific accounts | Select the accounts. |
Multiple complete, enabled audit policies work together to narrow the displayed history: a record must satisfy each applicable condition. These are UI review criteria, not persistent ledger rules.
Transaction Filters
After you load records from an organization or account history, you can use the following filters to find specific transactions.
| Filter | Parameters |
|---|---|
| Transaction ID | Enter an operation or transaction identifier. |
| Amount | Select a comparison and enter an amount. |
| Balance | Select a comparison and enter a balance. |
| Transaction Type | Select a transaction type. |

| Account ID | Enter an account identifier. |
| Purpose/Memo | Enter the text to search for. |
| Start Date / End Date | Select the beginning and ending dates. |
| Section | Information Displayed |
|---|---|

| From | Organization, User ID, and From Account ID. The From party displays - for a creation transaction. |
| To | Organization, User ID, and To Account ID. The To party displays - for a retirement transaction. |
Troubleshooting
If data is missing, select Refresh History, clear restrictive filters, verify the date range, and confirm the history service and transaction ID. If an unexpected organization or action is visible, verify the account’s assigned application group and permissions.
