Configure the Rich History Database Profile for the Wholesale CBDC Application
You use Blockchain Platform Manager to create a profile for the rich history database.
You must meet the following prerequisites:
- Blockchain Platform Manager access to create rich history database profiles and create instances.
- An Oracle AI Database that is reachable from the Blockchain Platform Manager and from the computer where you run the ORDS script. The database must be provisioned.
- A database user account approved by the DBA to connect, read the rich history tables, create or replace views, and administer the ORDS objects that are required by the script. The DBA must grant the required object and ORDS administrative privileges for the selected schema.
- The following information from the DBA: the database endpoint and connection string or TNS service alias. The database username and password. Network approval for Blockchain Platform Manager to reach the database.
- If the database uses a wallet-based TLS connection, an extracted Oracle wallet
.zipfile, supplied by the DBA.
Do not place the wallet or any other production secrets in source control. Store database passwords, wallet files, OAuth client secrets, and bearer tokens in an approved secret management system.
You can now create the instance and deploy the application.
