PIPEBUFFERSIZE

This Essbase configuration setting specifies the size of the buffer used for communication between the grid extractor and Report Writer.

Syntax

PIPEBUFFERSIZE n

n—An integer value from 2,048 to 65,534, expressed in bytes. The default is 65000 (about 65K).

Description

This setting determines the size of the buffer used for communication between the grid extractor and Report Writer on the network.

Example

PIPEBUFFERSIZE 20000

For the application Sample, defines a 20-kilobyte buffer to store pipes.
