Vectorize Outline

The Run Vectorize Outline job in the Essbase web interface enables you to vectorize your database outline. This process converts outline elements into vector representations for use with AI features.

Note:

If you update the vector embedding model in the AI connection or make any structural changes to the outline, you should rerun the Vectorize Outline job to ensure all changes are applied.

To run the Vectorize Outline job:

1. In the Essbase web interface, select Jobs.

2. From the New Job menu, select Vectorize Outline.

3. For Application, select the application associated with an AI connection.

4. For Database, select the database.

5. Click Submit.
