Oracle Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates for TimesTen

Oracle uses the Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) to create Accessibility Conformance Reports to represent the degree of conformance to various accessibility standards and guidelines, including Section 508 (as released in 2001 and revised in 2017), WCAG 1.0, WCAG 2.0, WCAG 2.1, and WCAG 2.2. TimesTen Products and User Interfaces

You can interact with TimesTen using a command-line interface or using graphical user interfaces offered through Oracle SQL Developer and Oracle Enterprise Manager. Command-line interfaces are accessible through the use of screen readers. For more information on accessibility in Oracle SQL Developer or Oracle Enterprise Manager, refer to the accessibility documentation of those products.

Accessibility Modes for TimesTen

TimesTen currently does not offer any accessibility modes for any of its products offerings. However, most of the TimesTen interfaces work through a command-line interface which is accessible through the use of a screen reader.

Accessibility of HTML Files Created by the ttStats Utility

The ttStats utility creates HTML reports that are accessible and readable by screen readers.

Accessibility of TimesTen Documents Generated with the Javadoc Generator

The following TimesTen Javadoc documents are generated with the Standard Doclet version 11.0.27:

Be aware of these accessibility issues with the TimesTen Javadoc documents:

  • They do not include row headers for accessibility, violating Web Content Accessibility Guidelines criterion 1.3.1. Reference these bugs:

  • Use of the the Oracle Accessibility Toolbar (OATB) Reflow tool results in a horizontal scroll bar and potential loss of information, violating Web Content Accessibility Guidelines criterion 1.4.10. Reference this bug:
