Utilities are described in this chapter.

Utilities Descriptions

Name	Description
`ttAdmin`	Specifies or changes database policies.
`ttAdoptStores`	Moves databases from a TimesTen installation to a new TimesTen installation of the same major release, but a different minor release.
`ttBackup`	Creates a backup copy of a database that can be restored at a later time using the `ttRestore` utility.
`ttBulkCp`	Copies data between TimesTen tables and ASCII files.
`ttCapture`	Captures information about the state of TimesTen.
`ttCheck`	Performs internal consistency checking within a TimesTen database.
`ttClientImport`	Imports the client wallet and `sys.odbc.in` configuration on the client.
`ttCreateCerts`	Manages certificates and wallets.
`ttCacheInfo`	Returns change-log table information for Oracle Database tables and information about Oracle Database objects used to track DDL statements issued on cached Oracle Database tables.
`ttCWAdmin`	Manages TimesTen active standby pairs that take advantage of the high availability framework of Oracle Clusterware.
`ttDaemonAdmin`	Starts and stops the TimesTen main daemon and Server.
`ttDaemonLog`	Controls and displays daemon log messages.
`ttDestroy`	Destroys a database including all checkpoint files, transaction logs and daemon catalog entries.
`ttExporter`	Starts or configures the TimesTen Prometheus exporter.
`ttInstallationCheck`	Examines all files in an installation of TimesTen and generates a signature for the installation,
`ttInstallDSN`	Generates a Windows client DSN for one or more entries listed in the provided input file and installs them into the ODBC Panel as a System DSN.
`ttInstanceCreate`	Create a new TimesTen instance.
`ttInstanceDestroy`	Destroys an existing TimesTen instance.
`ttInstanceModify`	Modifies certain attributes of an instance.
`ttIsql`	Executes SQL statements interactively.
`ttMigrate`	Saves and restores TimesTen objects.
`ttRepAdmin`	Displays, sets, modifies and monitors existing replication definitions and status.
`ttRestore`	Creates a database from a backup that has been created using the `ttBackup` utility.
`ttSchema`	Prints out the schema, or selected objects, of a database.
`ttShmSize`	Returns the required total shared memory size needed for both the database and the PL/SQL shared memory segments.
`ttSize`	Estimates the amount of space that a given table, including any views in the database will consume when the table grows to include a specified number of rows.
`ttStats`	Monitors database metrics or takes and compares snapshots of metrics.
`ttStatus`	Displays information that describes the current state of TimesTen.
`ttTail`	Fetches TimesTen internal trace information from a database and displays it to `stdout`.
`ttTraceMon`	Enables and disables the TimesTen internal tracing facilities.
`ttUser`	Helps to securely store user IDs and passwords in an Oracle Wallet and to obtain a hashed password for the `PWDCrypt` connection attribute.
`ttVersion`	Lists the TimesTen release information.
`ttXactAdmin`	Lists ownership, status, log and lock information for each outstanding transaction.
`ttXactLog`	Displays a formatted dump of the contents of a TimesTen transaction log.
