7.3.10 Audit Rules File

During the upgrade from Oracle Linux 6 to Oracle Linux 7 on Exadata database servers, the Oracle Linux 6 audit settings are migrated and moved into to the audit file 01-exadata_audit.rules. Rules that are not specific to Oracle Exadata are not migrated during the upgrade. You must reconfigure these rules separately. Oracle recommends creating and maintaining a custom audit rules file for rules that are not specific to Oracle Exadata.
