12.5 Components of Oracle Exadata Storage Expansion Rack X7-2

The Oracle Exadata Storage Expansion Rack X7-2 includes the following components:

  • 4 Exadata Storage Server X7-2 Servers with 6.4 TB Flash Accelerator F640 PCIe cards or 10 TB 7.2 K RPM High Capacity SAS disks

  • 3 Sun Datacenter InfiniBand Switch 36

  • 2 redundant 15 kVA PDU (single phase or three phase, high voltage or low voltage)

  • 1x 48-port Cisco Nexus 93108-1G (Cisco Nexus9000 C93108TC-EX chassis) or 9348 (Cisco Nexus9000 C9348GC-FXP chassis) Ethernet switch

  • 102.4 TB of raw flash capacity for HC storage servers or 204.8 TB of raw flash capacity for Extreme Flash (EF) storage servers

  • 480 TB of raw capacity disks for high capacity storage servers only
