7.3.13 Caching Large Copy Writes in Exadata Smart Flash Cache

Building on optimizations introduced in Exadata System Software 12.2.1.1.0 that enable Faster Performance for Large Analytic Queries and Large Loads, large writes associated with data file copy operations are now eligible for caching when the hard disk drives (HDDs) are busy. This optimization enables the storage server to utilize spare flash capacity and I/O bandwidth to deliver consistently better overall performance.
