11.1 Oracle Exadata Database Machine Hardware Components by Model

These tables list the components included for each type of Oracle Exadata Database Machine model and configuration.

In the following tables, for raw capacity, 1 GB = 1 billion bytes. Capacity is calculated using normal space terminology of 1 TB = 1024 * 1024 * 1024 * 1024 bytes. Actual formatted capacity is less.

Oracle Exadata Storage Server variants are abbreviated as follows:

  • HC - High Capacity
  • EF - Extreme Flash
  • XT - Extended

The following table describes the flexible configurations for X6-2 and later systems.
