10.4.4 I/O Resource Management Support for More Than 32 Databases

I/O Resource Management (IORM) now supports share-based plans, which can support up to 1024 databases, and up to 1024 directives for interdatabase plans. The share-based plans allocate resources based on shares instead of percentages. A share is a relative distribution of the I/O resources. In addition, the new default directive specifies the default value for all databases that are not explicitly named in the database plan.
