2.1.3 Disabling SELinux

You can disable SELinux on Exadata by using the host_access_control utility.

  1. Set the SELinux mode to disabled.
    # /opt/oracle.cellos/host_access_control selinux --disabled
  2. Reboot the system.

    A system reboot is required to deactivate SELinux.
