7.7.4.14 CREATE XRMEMCACHE

Purpose

Starting with Exadata X10M, the CREATE XRMEMCACHE command creates the Exadata RDMA Memory Cache (XRMEM cache).

Note:

On Exadata X8M and X9M systems, the CREATE XRMEMCACHE command is equivalent to the CREATE PMEMCACHE command.

Usage Notes

Starting with Exadata X10M, on storage servers equipped with XRMEM cache:

• The CREATE XRMEMCACHE command does not require any additional arguments. All attributes of the XRMEM cache are configured automatically, including the XRMEM cache size.

• The XRMEM cache is created automatically during cell creation.

• If it does not exist, the XRMEM cache is re-created automatically during Cell Server (CELLSRV) startup.
