  • Additional automated problem detection: AHF Insights can now detect slow database performance caused by generic I/O errors, as well as node evictions caused by poorly sized UDP buffers or incorrect UDP reassembly-buffer settings. The Detected Problems view presents the problem, cause, and recommended resolution.
  • Insights File Viewer: Selecting an event in the Insights Timeline now opens the relevant log file directly at the corresponding entry. This makes it faster to investigate the evidence behind a reported event.
  • In-product Insights feedback: AHF Insights now lets DBAs, system administrators, cluster administrators, and architects submit feedback directly to the development team, helping shape future product improvements.
  • New Orachk checks: Orachk can check for a kernel tainted by non-Oracle modules or third-party security software installed from packages.
  • New Exachk checks: Exachk adds validation for an Exadata Live Update status with outstanding work, plus critical-issue checks EX89, EX90, and EX91.
