Oracle Autonomous Health Framework (AHF) 25.10 Release Notes Summary

  • Stability, performance, and security improvements: This is primarily a stabilization release. It updates the bundled JRE to version 11.0.29 with Oracle’s October Critical Patch Update, reduces memory usage in core AHF processes, and fixes more than 180 issues across the AHF stack.
  • Administrative command-history capture: Diagnostic collections now include history for selected administrative commands, including kill, rm, find, chown, chmod, shutdown, reboot, and startup. This provides more context on recent system activity during root-cause analysis.
  • Automated problem detection in Insights: AHF can automatically detect and recommend resolutions for instance evictions caused by disconnected Exadata cell nodes and ORA-29770, as well as slow database performance caused by incorrect RDS/IB network configuration. Results appear on the Insights Problem Summary page.
  • New best-practice checks: Orachk and Exachk add validation for kernel-space and user-space core-dump configuration. Orachk also adds an invalid database objects check, while Exachk adds the Exadata critical-issue check EX93.
