Oracle Autonomous Health Framework (AHF) 26.9 Release Notes Summary

AHF 26.9.0 improves Insights data collection, certificate administration, system health monitoring, and database upgrade-readiness assessments. The release also includes more than 60 minor enhancements and bug fixes, along with critical security updates.

  • Configure OS sampling for AHF Insights: Set the operating system sampling interval based on the duration of an Insights report. For example, 4:5,8:15 sets a 5-second interval for reports up to 4 hours and a 15-second interval for reports up to 8 hours. Configure the intervals with the ahf.insights.os-sampling-interval property.
  • Manage upload-scope certificates: Users with the Platinum role can import, list, and remove upload-scope certificates through the AHF command-line interface. AHF stores imported certificates in a PKCS#12 trust store and distributes them across cluster nodes. After an import, AHF reloads its HTTP client so the certificate can be used without restarting the service. Importing root-scope certificates remains restricted to privileged users.
  • Monitor Telemetry Adapter and Insights health: The TFA system health check framework now monitors Telemetry Adapter and Insights. Checks cover component status, errors, metric upload failures, configuration issues, data-directory validation, compliance automation, and related monitoring services.
  • Assess database upgrade readiness: Orachk and Exachk use AutoUpgrade 26.5 analysis to identify potential database upgrade issues. The AHF report includes the findings and recommendations for review before an upgrade.
