post

/20160918/natGateways

Create a new NAT gateway for the specified VCN. Create a route rule with the NAT gateway as the rule's target.

Header Parameters
  • Minimum Length: 1
    Maximum Length: 64
A token that uniquely identifies a request so it can be retried in case of a timeout or server error without risk of executing that same action again. Retry tokens expire after 24 hours, but can be invalidated before then due to conflicting operations (for example, if a resource has been deleted and purged from the system, then a retry of the original creation request may be rejected).
Body ()
Details for creating a NAT gateway.
Root Schema : CreateNatGatewayDetails
Type: object
Show Source
  • Allowed Values: [ "FAILOVER_TO_INTERNET", "DO_NOT_FAILOVER_TO_INTERNET" ]
Set to `FAILOVER_TO_INTERNET` (the default) to allow the replication of customer data from flowing over public Internet, set to `DO_NOT_FAILOVER_TO_INTERNET` to prevent replication of customer data from flowing over public Internet.
  • Default Value: false
Whether the NAT gateway blocks traffic through it. The default is false. Example: true
  • Minimum Length: 1
    Maximum Length: 255
The OCID of the compartment to contain the NAT gateway.
  • definedTags
    Additional Properties Allowed: additionalProperties
Defined tags for this resource. Each key is predefined and scoped to a namespace.
  • Minimum Length: 1
    Maximum Length: 255
A user-friendly name. Does not need to be unique, and it is changeable. Avoid entering confidential information.
  • freeformTags
    Additional Properties Allowed: additionalProperties
    Free-form tags for this resource. Each tag is a simple key-value pair with no predefined name, type, or namespace. Example: {"Department": "Finance"}
  • Allowed Values: [ "EXTERNAL", "SOCI_EGRESS" ]
The name of the Oracle managed public IP Pool from which the IP address associated with the NAT gateway is allocated.
  • Minimum Length: 1
    Maximum Length: 255
The OCID of the public IP address associated with the NAT gateway.
  • Minimum Length: 1
    Maximum Length: 255
The OCID of the route table used by the NAT gateway. If you don't specify a route table here, the NAT gateway is created without an associated route table. The Networking service does NOT automatically associate the attached VCN's default route table with the NAT gateway.
  • Minimum Length: 1
    Maximum Length: 255
The OCID of the VCN the gateway belongs to.
  • zprTags
    Additional Properties Allowed: additionalProperties
zprTags for this resource. This is unique to ZPR, and extends the defined tags to include a mode keyword as well Example: `{"Oracle-DataSecurity-ZPR": {"MaxEgressCount": {"value":"42","mode":"audit"}}}`
