Detach and delete the specified secondary VNIC. You cannot detach and delete the instance's primary VNIC. When you terminate an instance, all attached VNICs (primary and secondary) are automatically detached and deleted.

Important: If the VNIC has a private IP that is the target of a route rule, deleting the VNIC causes that route rule to blackhole and the traffic will be dropped.

  The OCID of the VNIC attachment.

Header Parameters

  For optimistic concurrency control. In the PUT or DELETE call for a resource, set the if-match parameter to the value of the etag from a previous GET or POST response for that resource. The resource will be updated or deleted only if the etag you provide matches the resource's current etag value.
• is-preserve-vnic: boolean
  If set to true, the VNIC should not be deleted. The default value is true.
